You’ll Need:


  1. Vanilla Ice Cream
  2. Milk
  3. Peppermint Candies or Candy Canes
  4. 1/4 tsp Peppermint Extract (optional – the candies will suffice if you don’t have any extract)
  5. Oreo Cookies – I used Mint for extra minty fun
  6. Whip Cream (optional for topping)


How to Make:


  1. Crush peppermint candies in a blender - do not over crush - a quick pulse or two
  2. Add ice cream, milk, peppermint extract and blend for a couple seconds
  3. For a thicker, richer milkshake, use mostly ice cream with just a small amount of milk
  4. After partially blended, add cookies and blend for a couple more seconds, depending on your blender
  5. Top with whip cream, crushed candies, and crumbled cookies
